ROCKFORD, Ill. — Authorities say a northern Illinois man was electrocuted when he came into contact with power lines in Rockford. The 59-year-old Loves Park man was found in a bucket lift Thursday afternoon when staff from the Winnebago County coroner’s arrived at the location in Rockford. WREX-TV reports that the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner’s report states that the man was electrocuted when he made contract with electrical power lines. The victim’s name was being withheld, pending notification of his family. An autopsy is pending.
